The Internet literacy gap between Greeks and Europeans still important in 2010 , and has increased marginally over the last three years 2007-2010 . The level of Internet literacy of the general population in Greece falls by 18 percentage points of average EU-27. The evolution of Internet literacy of the general population in Greece, the period 2007-2010, shows improvement has lagged behind compared to the same for citizens of the EU-27. Within three years of improvement in the percentage of Greek citizens with good skills in Internet use by 7% , and reduce the proportion of people without skills by 10% . In the period 2007-2010 found improvements in Internet literacy across all the special groups. These groups include people with low education, unemployed, those living in rural areas, middle-aged and elderly. To improve the literacy in Greece is necessary and the training of citizens to information and communication technologies with emphasis on professional skills in ICT and e-business and digital targeting disadvantaged groups.
